The Community Notions Program aligns with Promised Fibers first goal of providing support to fiber artists pursuing their craft. This program will fill what we see as a gap in our community. This program will allow for people to donate their new or gently used fiber arts notions to Promised Fibers and in turn, Promised Fibers will send those notions out to people who request them. Requests will be filled on a rolling basis and are dependent on the donations received. Click here to request notions.

Donations
Please mail donations to: Promised Fibers, 10871 Bustleton Ave, Unit #265, Philadelphia, PA 19116
Promised Fibers will be covering the shipping costs to recipients in the continental United State. Donate funds to help with that part of the program.
The following items are acceptable donations for this program. Donations should be new or gently used. If there is an item not on this list that you are interested in donating, please reach out to confirm that the item is being accepted at this time.

- Fix-a-Stitch/Double-sided mini crochet hooks
- Needles
- Embroidery needles
- Tapestry needles
- Needle point protectors
- Pins
- Blocking pins
- Plastic headed pins
- Quilting pins
- Safety pins
- Rotary cutters
- Row counters
- Seam rippers
- Snips or scissors that are no more than 4″ from pivot point
- Stitch holders
- Stitch markers
- Tape measures
- Thimbles
International Participation
To participate internationally, please complete this form to request notions. The form will ask for an email address and not a shipping address. Requesters will share addresses with donors at their discretion. International notions requests will be shared without contact information, for people to volunteer to donate directly to the international requester.
