Who We Were

Promised Fibers was a Philadelphia-based non-profit committed to accessibility and inclusion in the fiber arts. We aimed to make fiber arts accessible to all through generosity, collaboration, and a commitment to equity. Promised Fibers was founded by Meesha in 2019 to provide funding to small fiber arts businesses and crafters. Promised Fibers operated from 2019 to 2023 when operations unfortunately had to cease due to a slow in donations and increase in prices post-pandemic.
